A diary shot…. many years ago we lobbied and then helped to build this sea wall to protect a nice grassy picnic area and some lovely pohutukawa trees from the sea. After recent big tides and strong easterly winds, part of the wall has washed away. Hopefully it can be repaired before there is more damage.
