The cleanup

Jesse in action beginning the cleanup - he is loading up the nectarine tree which got blown down in the storm. We have more to clean up over the weekend. About 25 years ago we planted shelter belts of Leyland cyprus which was all the rage at the time. Unfortunately all the trees in the district have contracted a canker which has killed them… at some stage soon, we will have to remove them all, before they blow over the neighbour's fence.
Nice capture of the movement. Such a shame about the trees dying.

What a brutal storm, when winds reach 75mph they are hurricane force and when they reach 150mph they are the worst hurricane force. I cannot imagine the winds you endured in your recent storm. I’m surprised anything is standing.
