We passed though a little hydro town yesterday as we tiki toured around. There is a dam here on the Waikato River and I have included images of the powerhouse. If you look carefully at the top of the left image, you can see how high the swing bridge was! The bridge was build in 1925 so workers could get from the town to the powerhouse - much quicker than the longer road trip.
What a wonderful experience and so picturesque, I would love to feel the bridge moving under my feet, each image is beautifully captured and presented Dianne:)
