Ladybirds by dide

Ladybirds

I have my little great-niece staying and she is such a lot of fun. She has just turned four and today we made some ladybirds from half walnut shells. There are another four to finish off tomorrow. She insisted that they have a mouth and came up with a better idea of where to put the antennae. Apparently the collective noun for a group of ladybirds is ‘the lovelyness of ladybirds'!
I hope they don't fly away overnight:)

Very creative Dianne, I now have another thing to do when our grandchildren stay, we try to avoid electronic games and TV and help them play with their hands and minds:)

What fun! An idea you would have to know about - and have the right glue!
