The shearer’s quarters

We completed day one of our six day cycle tour. A very busy day - wine tasting, flash platter lunch, formal welcome to the local marae and then dinner in a homestead built in 1840. Rained all morning, so we were very cold by lunchtime, then eventually the sun came out at the end of the day. The shearer’s quarters is great accommodation with each bedroom having an en suite.

@christinav we are in the Wairarapa doing a Green Jersey tour - part of the Rimutaka trail then Castle Point, Tora circuit. 10 of us and lots of fun. About 50 km per day.
