Broken But Still Beautiful by digitalrn

Broken But Still Beautiful

I was out looking for another curve the other day and driving down this one country road I spotted this broken down fence, and there it was, a curve. Then of course the wild flowers added to the photo. I took a couple shots and decided I like this one the best, and of course, I preferred the B/W, as it seemed to be the most fitting.
this is really beautiful Rick- love the black & white! a fav for me! :)

That's very beautiful! I think I even see water on the flowers, but I could be wrong. (I answered your question under my photo...)

Oh yes, the B&W is perfect for the mood and subject. It reminds me of a scene from the Old West. Lovely. And a unique curve for the theme.

It's amazing how a simple switch to B&W can enhance a photo enough to take it from simple, to simply amazing.
It looks great, Rick.

I liked things that look like they are done with. Wabi Sabi.

The image certainly lends itself to being a B&W photo. Come to think of it, Much of it must have been B&W to begin with! It has a nice "Cowboy Scene" to it...

This has a soft feel to it and the b/w makes it feel emotional. Kind of a sad, acceptance... nothing is ever perfect, they can still be beautiful.
