On my way to work this morning the sky was kind of cloud covered, not as bright as it typically is during my commute. I've seen this tree before, and it always stood out to me, but never took a photo of it before. I like photographing treees. So many have their own character, and trees can be so beautiful. This one stands alone out in the middle of the field, and from where I was, I was able to capture some of the weeds in various colors, and then the open field leading out to the tree. I thought it posed as a nice quiet morning photograph, portraying the beauty of nature. I don't know about you, but I often look around and wonder how anyone can question the existence of a Creator.
A beautiful shot, Rick. Very peaceful. I see God in nature wherever I look and see it as a gift to us that He shows himself and his "nature" to us in nature.
love this shot--the tree just symbolizes strength, and the wildflowers are beautiful in the foreground. i love how creative God is in His creation--such an awesome world He gave us to explore and enjoy!!
This is beautiful....I especially love the Queen Anne's Lace and chicory in the foreground; I also love the cornfield that is growing right alongside the tree. Its been so HOT that even a dark sky like this one with its shade is beautiful.
Stunning shot! Beautiful perspective and framing.
"but I often look around and wonder how anyone can question the existence of a Creator."... I couldn't have said it better myself. I look around at all the beauty and the glory and I have NO clue how ANYONE could doubt Him.
Nice picture Rick. I am glad you and so many others on here find comfort in your religion. I am afraid science keeps getting in my way but l do have strong leanings towards the Pagan way of thinking.
