The Road Of Life Is Full Of Uncertainties
We Travel It By Faith And Determination
Facing The Challenges That Lie Before Us
And Willing To Take One Step At A Time
When We Learn By Faith To Trust In The Goodness Of God
We Are Able To Accept Each Day As A Gift
And We Can Look Forward To Each Tomorrow
Knowing That He Will Be There Each Step Of The Way
Thoughts By: Rick Schies
I saw this one spot while driving to work this morning, and the way the path led beyond my sight, it made me think of how we fear the uncertainties of life, the unknowns, and often that hinders our ability to enjoy life in the now. If only we could learn to take one day at a time, perhaps we could rid ourselves of some of the unnecessary worries that make their way into our mind. Sometimes that is easier said than done.
The lighting of the photo perfectly matches the inspirational thoughts that you included.... and like you said so many times this is easier said than done. I know that "trust" comes hard to me.
I heard someone say this morning 'we cant go back to yesterday and we dont know if we'll be here tomorrow so we have no choice but to live for today' .... I like the way you put it better I think. Nice B&W.
Lovely shot! I strive daily to live in the moment. Good reminder! Thanks for the comment on my mystery office supply. I've posted the answer on my comments. More pictures of office stuff to come next week.
I love this picture! It reminds me of the lane that led to the family picnic grove we used to have when I was younger. What a wonderful picture and what wonderful words! Thanks!
I think, I'm following you for your messages more than your photos LOL! The Lord has a way of putting people in our path. I was just reading in the book of Job today. There was one part (footnotes etc.) That said, it's better to know God then answers. Job didn't know why he was suffering. It's all to our good some how, IF we hold on to the Lord. :-)

I agree with your words - I am a worrier - it solves nothing - but hard habit to break.
