The puppies had me up early this morning, so while I was wasting time, and everyone else was still in bed, I thought I'd check out everything. Was there one, two or three under there for me? It is Christmas, and Christmas is about giving right? Well, there were, and I had to pick them up to inspect them properly. That's when it happened. I was so overcome with excitement that I didn't even hear the approaching footsteps. Then, all of a sudden I heard it. Grandpa! What are you doing? I immediately responded, "Grandpa is checking to make sure all the gifts are marked correctly. I don't want them to go to the wrong person." "Yeah, ok Grandpa..." I can't beleive they didn't understand the importance of my mission. I hope you all had a wonderful day. We did. It was fun.
Haha--of course you were! Did you explain that adults need to do the same for Santa's cookies? Quality control tasting...just to make sure they're okay and all.
Great expression (:
LOL! For Shame Grandpa!!! :) This is a great shot, Rick. I used a tree light and it was evening, so there were no other lights on except the overhead lights... which don't provide much when shooting into a tree. :) Thanks for your comment, I hope you had a wonderful time with family.
This is the funniest post I have seen today! Just checking the presents to see that they were marked correctly, lol, that is pretty fast on your feet! Although, lol, I wonder if they actually believed it! ha ha
Great expression (:
Love your expression on this, great capture!
