I saw this tree as I was leaving work today, and I liked how it silhouetted against the grey rainy sky. When I uploded it, I received an extra surprise from it. I noticed how the one was full of buds, the other not, and it looked as though the branches from both trees were touching ever so so delicatley, almost like those beautiful photos of hands you see touching. It made me think of friendships, and how important and meaningful friendships can be to us. From healthy friendships we often gain support, encouragement and unconditional love. These relationships are a vital part of our life. So to all our wonderful friends out there, we love you, and thank you for your unending support.
Avery found out today just how much he treasured his friendship with one of his best school buddies.. His little friend had his last day at school today and Avery was heart broken...
This is a lovely photo Rick and an even more important message to go along with it...
Everything about this is beautiful! The photo, the symbolism, and your words. A fav! I've taken alot of photos like this, but never posted them because they aren't nearly as beautiful as yours. But I'll probably keep trying because I love tree shots and branches against the sky.
And back attacha Rick. One of the best things about photography is what you see when you download and look at the pics in larger version. You discover all sorts of stories in there! This was a good one.
It's another beautiful photo Rick- definitely two "hands" reaching out to one another. Maybe they even shared the birds, like friends eventually share themselves with one another as the friendship grows.
The story behind this one is very inspiring, great one, Rick. I think your interpretation says a lot about the person you are, someone with a good, perceptive eye and an equally good heart.
There is something about shots of branches reaching to the sky that I just love. I probably have one hundred shots like this on my computer. The words you wrote are just perfect for this shot. Nicely done.
Love the thought on friendship... The silhouettes are beautiful and the buds, I like the red tone to them. I must admit, without my friendships I'd have been lost long ago.
A beautiful shot and words Rick. In a study we were talking about the gift of Prophecy and I brought up art. I know God talks to me thru my photography and sometimes I feel compelled to take a shot. Later I get a sense to send it to someone and a lot of times they tell me how much it meant to them - not the fact I'd send them a picture but that it spoke to them. I feel you do this with your artwork here. Bless you.
Nice caption to go along with this photo. I'm thankful for all my 365 friends and really appreciate all of your comments, Rick. I've had one of those weeks where you discover who your true friends are, so I can relate to this!

Your words are so true!
