My wife went to Zumba tonight so I went out for a photo walk at one of my fishing holes. The weather was threatening so I didn't trust going too far. I didn't walk far until I came across this fallen tree along the path. I liked how it looked against the background, and even more so in B/W. Shortly after taking a few photos I had to make my way back to the vehicle. Since it was raining I called my Brother and we met for supper. Had a nice chat and now I'm back home, and must catch up on my commenting. Have a wonderful rest of the evening.
Nice, nice, nice perspective! Were you lying down to get the shot? I'm really digging the b/w, too. Oh, and Zumba.... do you like it?? I've been considering. :)
I love tree photos and the eye you had with angle is wonderful. Black and white and vinegette. Spending time with family is wonderful and I am glad you enjoyed dinner with your brother. Like your wife I enjoy zumba. So much fun. :)
I love how the tree flows drom the lower left corner to the upper-right hand corner, from the lower trunks thickness to the wispy brances, respectively.
Wonderful shot of this fallen log - amazing what you come across if you go for walks. I tried zumba for a few weeks - i liked it but not motivated enough to continue.
This fallen tree made a great subject for you..wonder if some the top portion is leaning against another tree (can't make the trunk of it though on account of the green plants around it) or is the fallen one still alive and what I see are the leaves of it?
what kind of fish do you catch??
