My Wife and I went out and enjoyed the local art walk this evening. There were several nice venues, and it gave me the opportunity to grab a few photos. It's always nice seeing what others do with their creativity. My hometown does a First Friday Art Walk on the first Friday of each month from March through December, and they usually have a nice variety of mediums to enjoy. This church sits next to the venue I particiapted in last year. It was built in the mid to late 1800's, and it is very well maintained. I love the stone, but most of all the arched doorways. I have yet to be inside, but I'm sure I would be in awe of the interior. So anyway, for the theme, I grabbed a photo of the one front door. The weekend is here, and I hope you all enjoy it.
They are beautiful doors...sounds like you had a very nice evening...our town does similar events throughout the summer months...my favorite is Jazz festival week!
This lovely door is nicely framed with the archway...and the style of years ago we now see in new built homes here. wishing you and yours a great weekend.
love the stone archway and lights outside
