Myerstown Evangelical Theological Seminary, established in 1953, it is the official seminary for the Evangelical Congregational Church. This small seminary is located in the town where I grew up as a young man. It is a small seminary that offers several advanced degrees, a Master of Divinity, a Master of Arts in Religion, a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy, and numerous certificate programs. It sits on about 12 acres, and across the street is the nursing home, also established by the founding church.
First of all, I love how you framed the sign with the trees . . and we get a glimpse of the church. Then I think that the sepia tones are the perfect way to go with this. Beautiful, Rick.
The signs and bricks are so crisp in comparison to the still abundant leaves, which kind of makes this composition for me. That and the fact that the sign looks like a little church itself. Very cool.
