Yesterday you met Miss 441, today I introduce to you, the Bull. He was gazing in a nearby meadow, and though he did not look right at me, I did notice a shift in his eyes as I moved closer. I think he was waiting for me to climb the fence. If I wouldn't have had my work scrubs on I might have attempted the fence, but I didn't want to risk getting my scrubs dirty. It was another beautiful day in the country.
Please don't climb the fence, Rick! Bulls can be very unpredictable. I know too many people around here that have been injured by them. I have been chased by one myself. Scared me silly! I was eight months pregnant at the time. This is wonderful capture at a nice distance. :0)
@cjwhite I am laughing trying to picture you 8 months preggers r unning from a bull! Haha. I am glad you were okay. but you are right...bulls can get you. So be careful, Rick. you may have more get ruined than your scrubs.
Well listen to the ladies..don't get too close..can you tell me why some bulls have these rings through their nose? oh yes of course I do like your picture.
Bruni, I was told once that when the bull is young, the rings are placed so the farmer is able to lead the bull, and also it was said to discourage sucking. I posted a reference site... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nose_ring_(animals)@bruni
Aww...great shot. I want to pet him. I want to pet all cow like creatures and am being constantly told by my friend who works on a farm that is a bad plan. But look at him! He is so fluffy and pet-able!
Great shot of him, but I don't think it would have been a good idea to climb over that fence! Glad you had another beautiful day. We've got rain here today, so I have no idea what to photograph.
This beast is a "beauty!" Great shot, Rick. I wouldn't get any closer than this if I were you . . well maybe just a tad bit closer!! (After all, we are 365ers!) LOL p.s. We have arrived safely here in Michigan . . were "warmly" greeted with snow this a.m. Glad to be back on 365. Much work to do.
i never get a chance to take pictures of animals, so thanks for sharing Rick!
