Was outside with the boys watching them run around the yard, chasing bunnies, barking at the neighbors, just being a bit rambunctious, then I happened to notice how the late afternoon sun was casting a nice pattern of shadows on the neighbor's yard. Yes, by George, a theme shot! Thankful for the simple things. For all of you who celebrated Thanksgiving today, I hope you had a wonderful time with your family, friends or however you celebrated.
I hope that you had a good Thanksgiving, Rick or for tomorrow (I'm not sure when it is) It's amazing how doing a project like this can give you the eye to focus in on these opportunities. Ones such as noticing the pattern thrown off the fencing. You have to love this aspect of daily photography.
@clarissajohal A much braver man than I. I'm afraid I enjoy my freedom too much, besides, I am liable to cause a scene if I would be run over by the throngs of greedy and dastardly shoppers. Yes, it's true, if push comes to shove, I can yell as loud as the rest of them.
The shadows this time of year are amazing, no? Not only is this shot good for theme, but Thanksgiving too...to me it just says "family gathering" somehow, even though no one is in the shot.
Beautiful capture! I must be getting tired. I know the boys are your cute little dogs, but my mind wandered and I envisioned little human boys barking at the neighbors! I had to reread your post. LOL!
Will you be putting Christmas lights on that tree, I bet it would
look so pretty!!!
