As I left the city limits this morning on my way to work, I noticed the horizon, and I knew, by the already stunning colors, that I was going to be in for a treat. I pulled over into a parking lot, and took advantage of the opportunity. This was the first of a series as I sat there in my car, sipping my coffee weaiting for the rest of the show. It's actually amazing how quickly it all unfolds. Others in this series are posted in my other albums.
Rick the colors in your 3 pictures are so unbelievably gorgeous..the red and yellow tones so vibrant..yes you can actually see how fast the colors change as the sun climbs above the horizon.
There is alot to like in this scene! I love the contrast of the warm tones of the sky and the purplish tones of the tree line...then you see the mist... It IS amazing how fast it unfolds! That is why I get in such a r ush to get my camera ready at times, I am afraid I'll break it or a lens!
