Remnants Of Winter by digitalrn

Remnants Of Winter

I went out for a brief walk after getting home from work. As I walked around the lake I noticed several areas where branches had broken from their tree, and were lying, partially submerged in the water. Many of the trees around the lake are quite old, and the Winter tends to be hard on them. Hope you had a good day.
I like the way the trees twist around! Neat. (:

Great tones. Natures way of pruning the trees. There is a time of growth and a time of deadfall.

Our ponds look like this too. We lost alot of branches and trees over the winter. You've made this look beautiful.

Nice shot- every time we have a storm our trees naturally prune themselves. It's helpful for us too- we get kindling from all their dropped twigs and branches.
