I went for a drive this morning. It was overcast, and I hit periods of rain throughout the morning. Everytime I was at a place where I would have like to go for a walk, it rained, so I ended up being limited in my photo opportuities. All the fields are looking so fresh and green, and the overcast skies really brought out the colors nicely. This lone tree stands amidst the nicely manicured fields.
This is beautiful, Rick! Your composition is perfect. I envy you your fields (and lone trees!). I love that the farmer left one tree in the middle of that field. We had a wet day today too, but I caught a lucky photo during a break in the rain.
A wonderful picture with the single tree standing as sentinel. Thanks for all your comments while I was traveling. Even though I didn't have time to respond, it was nice to know that someone was out there keeping up with my pictures.
