I do love that song. It's a lovely country song that reminds me of traveling around the New South Wales north coast with family when I was young. And I do love how simple this photo is... and he really is on top of his world isn't he?
You made me cry. My granddaughter has suffered from bulimia for many years. She's better now, thank God. Karen's video reminded me again of how sad that disease is. Notice the long sleeves on her dress. Camouflage. Your picture today is beautiful, BTW, your photography is very special.
I really love the perspective of this photo and the song fits it so perfectly, Rick. Karen Carpenter had the most beautiful voice ever, I think. I'm so glad I took the time to listen to it. When I saw your title, the first line of the song immediately ran through my head, but it was the second line that really resonated with me today: "There is wonder in most everything I see..." So perfect.
Karen Carpenter had an excellent voice! I grew up on the Carpenters and others. My dad liked to play guitar and have us kids sing along, and the Carpenters were perfect for that.
As for the buggy, this is so cute; he does seem on top of the world.
