Beautiful portrait, Rick! I'm assuming this is before her big catch. I really like that Josie is also in this photo, in the background. It seems so appropriate to me. Grandparents are supposed to be present and like angels in their grandchildren's lives. I think you and Josie do a fabulous job of that. My own little sweetie is coming on Thursday! She will be on Cape for a whole month!
Oops! Typical PRE-teen, then! And, holy cow, she is a beauty and she does look older than 10... Going to have to figure out how to keep the boys at bay really soon!
Don't the kids look much more grown up then when we were their age? I see it on my granddaughter Shayelynne who is just 14 and when I read the stuff the writes and pictures she puts up on facebook I like to disown her. what happened to the child she was.. I expected Cassidy to be older..she looks so mature for only being 10 but none he less she is a beautiful young lady.
@bruni Oh I know, and trust me, the reigns are tight right now, as her older Sister has a lot of influence on her. Her Daddy is well aware of what goes on on the street, so it will be hard to hide trouble .
