Home Sweet Home

We celebrated a quiet 4th of July at my Brother's house, just a small picnic with some good food and just a quiet time together. It was too hot so we had our picnic goodies inside, in the air conditioning. I know, we're wimps, LOL Anyway, the 4th of July is a special day of giving thanks for our independence as a Nation, and with that independence comes freedom which we should never take for granted, lest we lose it. For those of us who appreciate the value of what that truly means, I think it would mean a tough battle to anyone who would try to take it away. A big thank you to all those service men and women who fought for the freedoms we have today, and who are serving today. I appreciate my Home in the USA, the land of the free and the home of the brave.
