Wow, what a day. Today was moving day for Stefanie. Her and her fiance Pete can now get settled into their own home. Her day didn't start out to well. So happens the truck they reserved for 7am was not ready when I went there to pick it up. Needless to say, when I called Stefanie, and told her the truck was not ready, she was not a happy camper. Stefanie has no tact when it comes to people messing up her plans, especially when you consider she just worked 10pm till 7am, ending up a 60 hour work week, and now this place just messed up her day. She had to go into the rental place to give them a piece of her mind. All I can say is, I'm glad I wasn't there. She does have a temper when it comes to things like that. She gets that from her Mother, LOL. But have no fear, Dad came through and found another one, and saved the day. The kids loaded the furniture they had and moved it while Mom and Dad stayed behind and packed up things, rearranged things, cleaned, then later moved a few other items to their new home, came back home, moved around some more things, and then decided it was time for supper, so we took everyone out for Chinese food. After we had eaten, we finished moving a few more items, and then Mom, Dad, and Peyton returned home, leaving Stefanie and Pete behind. We cleaned up some more things, and now Dad is sitting outside on the patio with his feet up, drinking a cup of coffee, and playing with his camera. This is the view I had. Grant you, it's not the open country, but its a small piece of quiet in the City for me to end a busy day. It feels so good. I hope your day was a nice one.
I love this shot Rick & have enjoyed reading about your day, love it when you say Stephanie takes after her mother....a priceless man statement!!!!! Hope the young couple enjoy their new home!!
