I was out on a mission today looking for some old graveyards. Our Daughter's fiance asked me to do a graveyard photo for him. I strive to please so I set out today in search of a suitable setting. I revisited two graveyards that I know are filled with very old tombstones. This one is really cool. It only has eight tombstones, but so far no tplease with the results. I will need to revisit and try a few more approaches.
@maggiemae He likes skulls, not necessarily gothic, but yet more on the darker side. He wants to hang it in his weight room. He loves a good horror film, so most likely to fit into his favorite movie themes.
I always aim to please too, so I know how you feel. I have only taken one cemetary shot that I like (although I do have one I never posted that haunts me). Things have slowed down just a bit, but not quite enough. I just missed it here too much to give it up. I also noticed that when I stopped taking photos every day, I started to get depressed. I'd much rather take a photo a day than a pill a day.
I love poking around in old graveyards. There is a great one in Idaho City, Idaho. I've decided that my tombstone will read "Having a great time; wish you were here." People need to have a little laugh while they're poking around. :)
