Lilly Pad Heaven by digitalrn

Lilly Pad Heaven

I went for a walk around a local lake early this evening, and this lower end is all but covered in lilly pads. They are all dried, and brown. As I walked around this end of the lake, I only saw one frog, and he was too quick for me to grab a photo of him, but I did enjoy the display of the rich Autumn colors.
Goodness what a lot of plants - wonderful if they flower! And yes, watch for those frogs!

I've never seen such a crowded area full of lily pads..this makes a great autumn scene with the blue sky and great white clouds, the light between the pad show a bit of blue water. all in all very awesome.

wOw ~ what a wonderful spot...and a great autumn scene... Thinking about it, it would be nice if you went back to the lily pad during the summer season when they are in flower and take another shot then... would love to see them in full bloom, reckon it would be pretty spectacular ♥

Beautiful with the light fading to nothing in the top of the shot and all those lily pads in the bottom of it!

Very nice- we've got a pond near here too that has lots of lily pads. They seem to be fading as the weather is getting colder. I'm sure this fall has been quite lovely where you are.
