After doing a little research, I read that this is one of the largest Masonic buildings, and one of the finest examples of neo-gothic architecture around. It was designed by architect George F. Schreiber some time between 1927 and 1929 at a cost of approximately $2.5 million. It is owned by the Valley of Indianapolis Scottish Rite, an affiliate of Freemasonry. It was built with every dimension in feet, being evenly divisible by three (3) reflecting the three (3) degrees in Freemasonry, with many being divisible by thirty three (33) reflecting the degrees a member of the Scottish Rite can achieve. (Information obtained from Wikipedia) The lighting is beautiful, and it was a bit difficult to get a good view of the entire structure.
