Fenced In by digitalrn

Fenced In

It was a great day to be out driving around. The skies were filled with dark blue clouds, and though it was a little breezy, the sun was out, making it quite nice overall. I came across this empty pasture, a bit boring, but not wanting to be fenced in to this plain image, I decided to play around with it a bit, changing the tones, and ended up liking this sepia version the best. I also liked the shadows created by the sunlight. I hope you had a great Sunday. Noit sure this will make it into the weekly theme, but tagged it anyway.
Cool shot

I agree with you - the shadows together with the sepia processing make it really nice!

I really like this... the sepia gives it an "old west" feel... :)

Love this one and agree with Marilyn, the sepia does give it a rustic feel.

I think your choice today is extremely interesting. If you look close, you can see cracks in the boards of the fence. I'd like to have that pasture. It would be full of sheep and then I could knit you a sweater. P.S. Where's your snow?

The shadows add another great dimension. I really like the unified appearance that the sepia adds.

it is beautiful :) I miss the days of driving around when we lived in the country--I need to make time to do that one weekend :)

This color works well with your subject. The lack of other types of detail make the detail in the ground, fence, and sky really show.

I like the play of light and shadow and yes the sepia tone is just right for it.
