This year it seemed as though Winter and Spring were going to reside together, but now I think Spring is finally pushing forward. The branches on this little tree were almost bare, except for a few browned leaves still clinging on, and some new buds showing signs of new life.
Nice picture, Rick. hope you're right about Spring taking over. this afternoon it turn nice and warm..the sun was out and I saw people carrying their jackets instead of wearing them. in the early evening we had a heck of a storm and now all is quite. it's suppose to get colder again over the weekend. we'll just have to wait and see. have a nice weekend and I hope it's not all work for you.
Nice capture- I like the soft focus and slight over-exposure in the back ground. I find Oaks amusing that way. They hold on to the old leaves until the news ones push them off! Yes, I have to say, I think Spring is here- yay!!
I think winter & spring are in a dual and winter is winning. I saw snow and it is cold. Cool shot! I immediately thought the leaves were in combat of some sort
