My Sister wanted to take a drive to the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery today to see all the flags on display, so while we were there we wandered around a bit and took the time to remember all those who served our Country. It is always a somber experience as you stand and gaze across the thousands of tombstones. As we prepare to celebrate Memorial Day, we want to remember all those who have given their lives to serve our Country. I captured this shot of Josie as she stood there in silence taking in the sight.
Yes, a nice tribute to all who have served. i cry every.single.time they play the songs of each military branch in church. there is something that just stirs my heart deep within at such sacrifice. so grateful.
