We are enjoying keeping an eye on the growth of our new family of Robins. Momma and Papa decided to take up residence in the front section of our patio a few weeks ago. I believe Momma has become accustomed to me and my camera, because she no longer flies away so quickly when I approach. The upper left photo shows the one baby appearing to be asleep. I believe there are three little ones in the nest. In the lower left photo you see how quickly they come alive when they hear Momma calling. And then on the right you see Momma taking care of the young.
As I am sitting here I was just wondering where the robin nest is, because Mama Robin keeps swooping past me. After I catch up on commenting it is time for a walk to answer that question! Love this collage. Last year we watched a family of robins that had made a nest in a fake ficus tree on our porch!! It was perfect for my little one to watch!
