Ok, I thought our kids grew fast. Wow! Within a week from my last photo they are ready to leave the nest. At least this one was. Right after I took this photo of him sitting on the edge of his nest, he flew down and perched on the lattice. Momma was right there calling him, and then he flew over to meet her. She led him around and finally out back they went. There are still two more in the nest. I guess one at a time, or perhaps this one left a bit prematurely. He flew pretty well though, now watch out for the cats.
That was fast! I have been trying to fly all my life, without success haha. Beautiful capture of him up there. It must be a lovely experience to see them hatch and finally fly away to set up their own homes.
