Here is the after shot of Kiko and Toby. I think they really enjoyed their grooming today. At our previous groomer they typically spent about 4 to 5 hours there, and until we picked them up, they were kept in a cage. The new groomer had them finished in 1 1/2 hours, and when we arrived there to pick them up, they were standing at the door watching us walk up the sidewalk, no cage. She told us Kiko had what looked like a skin rash, and his skin was dry and flaky. She used a peppermint oil shampoo, and they smelled great. It is now almost 9:30pm here, and we have not observed them scratching at all. I hope it is resolving. We bought some peppermint oil shampoo so we can batch them again later in the week.
Lookin' good boys!! You know, I know there are some oils you can buy "in the raw" so to speak, because some folks use them homeopathically. I wonder if you'd be able to get some and rub it into their skin sort of like a body lotion too. Just a thought- I could be totally off base.
