We ended up with about 5 inches of snow, and then a thick coating of freezing rain. We were up early to go out and shovel out. Wow, not as young as we used to be. After it was all over, a nice warm shower to calm the aching back muscles, then out for breakfast. The roads had been well treated so driving wasn't bad at all. The fields were beautiful covered in snow, but with all that said, I am really ready for this to be over. Spring, where for art though oh beautiful warm weather.
My goodness Rick- we haven't even officially hit winter yet!! It's going to be a long seaon for you if you're wishing for Spring this early! Nice snow shot!
I feel the same way. Rick. this winter started early. and we have the cold spell we usually get in January, February already in December. the lake or at least the bay here is frozen and there're already some fish huts out there. love your beautiful winter scene.
You should come to live here when you retire, Rick. We are having sunny weather at the moment and the temperature is quite lovely. But you won't be able to take shots like this beautiful picture.
i agree - it feels like we've already had winter and it hasn't even started yet from the calendar's point of view. i like the texture of the snow in your image. you really got hit, with the freezing rain on top of everything
