Well at least they were at one time. These are only a few of the homes waiting to be demolished in the City. they sat along the construction site for our new over the railroad bridges. They have been sitting empty for the last tow and a half years waiting to be demolished. I guess all the money went into the bridge construction, so now they can't afford to demolish them. I'm not sure what the delay is. They are a breeding ground for illegal activity so they should go.
Wow this is really cool - both the photo and the way you processed it! It makes it seem like snapshots from the past all layered up. I remember the bridge construction.
I totally agree with you Rick. If nobody does something about them, they shall be used for illegal activities... that´s sad. But the colors and the shot are great!
I remember your new bridge.....seems ages ago it was opened so these houses must have been empty a long time. What a shame ...once happy homes & to be honest they don't look too neglected.
I agree- the processing works really well for the shot. Maybe the city is considering renovating them? Too bad they aren't acting faster. No one benefits from a run down neighborhood.
Very interesting presentation Rick. Yes they should go - there will be a fire in one of them one night and firefighters lives will be put in danger. Tear them down!
