Pubescent Clematis

These two Clematis blooms have been in this stage forever. I believe they are stuck in puberty or something. I like the look, but it would be nice if they would grow up.

@grammyn You know you may be right, but if that is the case, this plant never had any blooms on it. It was a real slow grower, only now beginning to stretch out.

I've no luck with clematis's, so I couldn't tell the difference. I think Kate might be right though. love this picture in B & W, is it SOOC except for the B & W?
