Wow, it has been a long time since I have been here! This has been the busiest year I have experienced in a very long time, and it has taken me away from some of the things I have enjoyed doing over the past few years, especially photography. This little gem has been a priority lately as we have her several days a week, and she has been such a joy in our lives. Scarlett has me crawling around the floor and since I have been giving her so much attention, by golly she expects it when she is here. How can I resist such a face? I received a nice note from Louise @Weezilou so I thought I better post a photo or two so you all know I am ok. Life is good! In two weeks we will welcome our next little one, our Grandson Peyton, Jr. He is due to arrive around October 14th. We are eagerly anticipating his arrival, and I will have some photos to share. I am hoping to soon get back into the groove of 365. I have missed you all.

I was speaking with friends recently and to a one, we all are aghast as how time seems to be speeding by! How is it possible that it's going faster when everything in life has been made easier for us?! I believe we all thought we'd have more free time! The up said, Rick, is that we're all in good company!
Hi, Rick, we have missed you on 365. Glad all is well. I can understand how occupied you are. We have Max almost 7 days a week and we miss him when he's at school in the morning in Winter. What a sweet face she has - bet you are a very proud grandpa.

I was wondering how long you could stay away. Life gets more hectic it feels. oh my, Scarlett is getting more and more adorable. what a sweet little face and another one on its way. wow. all the best for the expecting couple.

@maggiemae Maggiemae, I cannot accurately describe the feeling having her in my life. I am constantly blamed for spoiling her LOL, but we do seem to have a strong bond.
Nice to see this little cutie again! I'm sure she's keeping you young.;) No matter how busy you are you'll have to post some shots of Peyton when he arrives!

What a darling. I can imagine you crawling around on the floor, something us Grandparents all do. My granddaughter just turned 16. My how time flies when you're having fun.
