I grabbed a quick shot of Josie as she was putting her iced cookies into a container. She baked most of the day yesterday and most of the day today. This is the first time in several years that she made Christmas cookies. The house smelled fabulous! The cookies were really good too!
Nice to see Josie! So many other things to get done at Christmas. My mother always made cookies and candy to bring down for Christmas. We all missed that when she could no longer do it. My daughter has sort of taken over the baking of cookies, etc. I make peanut brittle to give as stocking stuffers to the family, also give to friends and neighbors. So far -- about a dozen batches made. Need to make another dozen, at least.
The best of Christmas is all the preparation. At the moment Christine is baking Christmas cakes. I recognised Josie as soon as I saw your shot. The cookies look yummy. Beautiful capture.
