In my albums, I have shared several photos from the old canal & tunnel. Those photos were taken near my home in Lebanon. This photo show you some of the old original locks that still remain in another part of the canal, about 8 miles from the other area. This portion is on private land, and you can see how thick and over grown the area is, but it still shows some of the remaining history.
You call it overgrown...I see it as being very lucious.. also I like the way the tree is reaching over the water towards the other sideas if it would rather be there.
