This is a working school bell. It sits on top of a one room Amish schoolhouse not far from where I live. If you look closely you can see the rope is still attached to the bell as it runs down through the roof. I can picture one of the Amish kids inside, assigned to ring the bell, announcing the start or end of classes.
I love these old schools...and I really like how you chose to focus on the bell, the most important part of school when it rings at the end of the day. hehe!
Which ring do the kids like best..start of the class or time to .go home. I guess it depends on the individual.. Rick love your angle here..not the whole school house but emphasis on the bell.
