Grabbed this shot of a little water fall along the creek, then played with the saturation, and I ended up liking this version the best. Tomorrow Josie and I will celebrate our 32nd anniversary of life together. It's hard to believe it has been that long. As I look at this little falls, I think of its similarity to life. It keeps flowing along, occasionally traveling over a few bumpy rocks, but as long as we keep things flowing along, we eventually make our way over the bumps along the way. Two people in a relationship need to be fluid like water, flexible, willing to give, sacrificing, and conforming to the other, meeting each others needs. Its when we start damming up the relationship with things like selfishness, and lack of communication that our journey together begins to grow stagnant, and then our realtionship suffers. It's also important to remember that we are far from perfect, so we shouldn't expect it from out partner either. Love forgives one another, and accepts the other for who they are. It's work, but well worth the time, and investment we are willing to put into it. That's just my opinion of course.
This picture is really beautiful but your words are even more beautiful. Have a very happy anniversary, Rick. You need almost 9 more years to reach me.
Awesome words. It's so beautiful when someone loves somebody like you love your wife. I'm blessed with the same amount of love to my wife. Happy anniversary. Great photo.
