@maggiemae Maggie, I am so sorry, but on my other photo I went to repsonbd to your quesiton about pince nez and I accidently hit the delete tab, wiping off your comment. And to answer the question whether my Grandmother was wearing pince nez, yes, it does appear that she is.
No, they sure don't make them like this anymore. On the other hand, my husband has a metal case about this size with a lid that screws on and off. I believe it's intended for gun powder, or pellets, or something hunting related. That's what he keeps his daily meds in. Cracks me up!
