Budding Pussy Willow

I stumbled upon a budding pussy willow bush. I want to find some to plant, but unfortunately I cannot have these. I liked the monochrome version with this application.

@bruni many people have them in their yard, not necessarily near water. I have tried a few times to sprout them but no luck. I must try again.

Are you sure it's a pussy willow? When I was a kid, we picked these for an elder neighbor. They were more like fur than bristly.

@sabanford Yes, there were other ones which apparently had gone through this phase on the same bush. I've never seen them before in this phase. I was always used to seeing them in the little fuzzy grey ovals.
