George Washington Slept Here

Really he did according to our local records. This place originally built in the mid to later 1700's and was called George Washington Tavern up until a few years ago when it was bought and they changed the name to Patsy Fagans, a little sacrilegious I believe. After all, it is part of our history. Regardless, I was sitting at the red light and somehow this guy sensed I was taking his photo, and he looked my way, LOL. No 25 cent wings tonight buddy, they're closed.
I think they should have kept the old name because it would bring more business.

A good candid shot and the old bricks are so irregular and certainly add interest and texture.

how do they KNOW that a camera is pointing at them? I have found this as well. They just know. I love the stone wall and the wings sign. So quaint! I love that history!

All those wavy bricks! The building is a treasure! I think people can sense that a person is standing still and looking their way. It's what we do after all!
