Even in black and white the lake is beautiful. It can be so refreshing to be out in the fresh air enjoying the beauty of nature. The warmer weather is bring to life the algae in the local lake. A few years ago the City was going to drain this lake and clean it out, but something interrupted the plans and it was delayed. Typically from late May through most of the Summer, this lake gets so thick with algae that it is almost impossible to fish. The local residents continue to hope the City will soon do something about it.
Algae is so difficult to get the upper hand of! We had some near us and I just used to call this particular one, "the pink pond"! Makes for a lovely photo in B&W!
We have the same problem with our lake here. wonder if they will come again this year and scoop it out. townhip has only so much money available but our taxes seem to go up and up.
