Most of our fields are still nice and green, but I did notice this field of corn on my way home beginning to feel the effects of the Summer's heat. We are still early in the season, so I think it may get a bit worse if this heat spell continues.
We have had a heat spell for the last week, temperatures at 35C. But from today it is cooling down to more comfortable summer temperatures. The corn look still very healthy to me.
They start to droop a bit..you have the heat and we have the rain. cut our trip to Holland short on account of all the rain. weather forecast said 80 percent rain every day all week long. where are you going on your vacation, if I may ask.
@bruni Yes you may ask Bruni. We are taking a quick trip to the State of Ohio to visit with Josie's Mom & Sister. Her Mother just had some Cancer treatment so we want to see her for a few days. She is doing well. Appears they were successful at surgically getting it all. We leave Thursday morning and due to return Monday evening.
