Hydration

I must paint the one back storm door that exits the old laundry room, and let me tell you, it is a chore. It is an antique door with twelve little windows in it, and I had to scrape off the old glazing around the windows and then putty each one. Then I had to sand it, and now I must finish painting it. The sun was hot, so I kept a good cold bottle of water nearby to help keep me hydrated. Nothing better than some ice cold spring water on a hot day.
I feel for you Rick, two of my doors in our kitchen that I have just painted each had twelve little glass panes......hard to paint & keep within the wood. I did start off with masking tape but in the end as they had wide edges I just had a steady hand but the bottom ones on the upper side were a trial? No puttying to do like you thank goodness!

I got tired just reading about it! Good to stay hydrated in the heat. You must not have too much humidity. That bottle would have been running with drops here.

I sure it will be worth the work.

@happypat Pat, you do not need to be careful around the glass. The excess paint scrapes off nicely with a razor edge

The reflections of the lattice work in the water bottle are really cool. Glad to see your projects are coming along.
