I haven't been flying but it does feel like a case of jet lag. I feel bad not being able to comment on your posts. I arrived home tonight about 8:30 after another long and gruesome day. Tomorrow the Department of Health does their exit, sometime in the afternoon. So far things do not seem too bad, but it is a hassle having them watch over you and dig for things you've done wrong. It's not their job to point out the good, only the bad with the goal of making you better. The only problem with that system is that it can be hurtful and make you look bad. The bottom line, we know that as a collaborative group, we do a great job, and we are proud of what we do for our residents. I am proud of all our staff.
I can sure sympathize with that. I remember when I was teaching and had my review the principal saying he didn't think there was enough interaction between myself and the students. I assured him that if he had not been in the room, they would have talked! He could have said 20 nice things about me after that and all I would have remembered was his negative comment about my students!
