This little shop sits on a street corner not too far from where I live. I've never been inside, but according to the sign they have everything from buying items such as gold, and selling anything from groceries to some of the more modern technology like MP3 players, I-Pods, etc. Perhaps he's not sure which items will make the most money so he is trying his hand at everything, and hoping he can find his goldmine. Not sure how much space he has for his inventory, but I think his window dressing needs a bit of attention. It might help to attract more visitors?
Looks like apartments above the store...maybe he carries every little item an apartment dweller might need in a hurry? Lots to see here..great capture!
Good eye to see the shot. It says "Buy and Sell", so he is acting like a pawn shop besides being a grocery. Sad, but maybe not a bad business decision, since two areas of strength in a weak economy are food and pawn companies.
From "eggs to i-pods" . . what a great place! Great capture of the whole thing and fun to study it all. I'd be tempted to go inside and see what "goodies" are stacked all over the place.
I think his business model needs a revise.... do one thing and do it well! I can't imagine going to the place I buy my groceries to sell my gold to buy an iPod.
