I went back out to the wildlife preserve for a little while today. It was cold and windy, with gusts up to 40 - 50 mph. Trust me, I stayed in the car most of the time sipping my hot coffee, though on occasion I did get out, but only for a brief period of time. I was not really pleased with this shot initially, but after playing with it a bit in Picnik, changing it to sepia, adding some texture then softening it, I liked the final results. I think I may order a 5 x 7 to see how it looks, and if it looks the way I think it will, I may enlarge it more and frame it. Tomorrow is Monday. In one more week our Daughter will be home. I am excited. It feels almost like Christmas did, back when I was a kid.
Wonderful vintage look and feel. Love the lone tree and the color tones are amazing. Yes, DO frame this!! P.S. Happy for you and the whole family with your daughter coming home. :)
I took one look at this shot and thought to myself, "Good night! How does he do it? He has beautiful shots every day!" I bet your daughter is looking just as forward to seeing you again!
Brilliant processing and I would love to see this framed. You have such a fantastic eye for these shots! I know you all must be so excited for your daughter's return....I am so happy for you all! I hope the week zips by!
