On A Country Hillside by digitalrn

On A Country Hillside

I went back out to the wildlife preserve for a little while today. It was cold and windy, with gusts up to 40 - 50 mph. Trust me, I stayed in the car most of the time sipping my hot coffee, though on occasion I did get out, but only for a brief period of time. I was not really pleased with this shot initially, but after playing with it a bit in Picnik, changing it to sepia, adding some texture then softening it, I liked the final results. I think I may order a 5 x 7 to see how it looks, and if it looks the way I think it will, I may enlarge it more and frame it. Tomorrow is Monday. In one more week our Daughter will be home. I am excited. It feels almost like Christmas did, back when I was a kid.
This is great composition and the tones fit perfectly!
