Home For The Holidays

Today was our Daughter's first, official holiday picnic since she has come back home. It was a great day, and we all had a great time together. And just in case you're wondering, she is doing very well. She is working very hard at her job, many extra hours a week to occupy her time, just what she likes to do. I can tell you that Dad is enjoying her time at home. Not sure how long it will last, but it is nice while it lasts. She is working hard to get a place of her own, and as Parents we support that. She needs to know that she can do it. And of course, we will always be there to support her in any way that we can, just as we always have, but for the most part, she wants, let me rephrase that, she insists that she does it on her own.
What a beautiful portrait. I am so glad that she is doing well. Take care, i hope you are well too

You and I both know that she will need that helping hand for just a bit, but getting out on her own is the " proof in the pudding" they used to say. She knows that you are behind her and that should be a comfort. I know she will make it. Beautiful shot of her. what a smile

She is beautiful. A wonderful shot of her. She looks very happy and I know yall are very proud of her. And she should be proud of herself and more so when she gets that new place to live!! May the Lord bless every step of her way :-)

I just love her smile here- she's so happy and peaceful. I'm so glad that all of you are enjoying her time at home. And I do believe that she will continue to blossom into the woman God has created her to be because of that love and support you (plural) give her.

Beautiful portrait. All a parent can ask for is their children to want to do it on their own.

I like the sepia tone of this. She looks so relaxed, carefree, and happy, which is how we should all be on the holiday weekend. :-)
