The sky looked promising all day long, and finally, a five minute shower, and that's pushing it. The flowers on the porch were enjoying the moisture. I am still watering them twice a day in hopes of salvaging them, but if it soon doesn't rain, I am going to cut back and allow nature to take over, and save the water.
We don't water grass, but I do water the things in the garden: you know, the butterfly, bee & bug attractors! How else could I find something to post e-v-e-r-y_c-o-t-t-o-n_p-i-c-k-i-n'_d-a-y?!?
The waterdrop on the are such a welcoming sign...only you guys need more of them..we had a good rain yesterday but again tonight all needed water again.
Marigolds are pretty hearty- I've only watered mine once or twice a week throughout the summer. My petunias needed a bit more. Cool effect in the processing there- really does look like a shower!
